Ramping up Production: In support of ramped Javelin production efforts, the Javelin team is working on designing and deploying new test stations to the production floor at the Pike County Production Facility in Troy, AL, and the Ocala facility in Ocala, FL.?

: The U.S. Army successfully completed its first Soldier-led Limited User Test (LUT) of Lockheed Martin’s Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) at White Sands Missile Range. The test was conducted entirely by Army personnel. The achievement follows November’s Production Qualification Test success and marks a significant milestone for the program as PrSM approaches Initial Operating Capability in 2025.

: Lockheed Martin completed its previously announced acquisition of Terran Orbital and its subsidiary, Tyvak International. Lockheed Martin has worked with Terran Orbital on projects including Space Development Agency programs and various technology demonstrations. Terran Orbital is continuing as a merchant supplier for satellite design, production, launch planning and on-orbit operations support for military, civil and commercial missions.?

: The seventh Lockheed Martin-designed and built Global Positioning System (GPS) III space vehicle launched Dec. 16, joining the U.S. Space Force's ongoing modernization of the GPS constellation. GPS III SV07 lifted off on an accelerated launch timeline, which is a demonstrated example of agility to launch critical national security missions.

: In December, Lockheed Martin announced it fully assembled, powered-on and advanced the U.S. Space Force’s first Next-Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared (Next-Gen OPIR) Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (GEO) Block 0 satellite to system level testing. This Next-Gen OPIR satellite is one of two satellites that will serve as the geosynchronous orbit component of the Space Force’s planned multi-orbit, multi-layer missile warning, tracking and defense architecture.?

: Sikorsky received a $6 million award from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to install the company’s ALIAS/MATRIX? flight autonomy system onto the U.S. Army’s experimental fly-by-wire UH-60M Black Hawk? helicopter. Designated MX, the upgraded aircraft will enable the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) to test and evaluate a wide range of autonomy capabilities, from single pilot operation to fully uninhabited flight.
