Lockheed Martin is the U.S. Navy’s strategic missile prime contractor. 美诱直播 have been the trusted prime flight system integrator since the first sea-based deterrent, overseeing every deployed submarine-launched ballistic missile variant and generation from Polaris A1 to the Trident II D5 Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) program. 美诱直播 have delivered, executed, and prepared for over six decades to meet this unique strategic challenge. 美诱直播 designed, manufactured, assembled, tested, deployed, and sustained the D5 Flight System while activating and maintaining associated facilities.

The Trident D5 missile is the sixth in a series of missile generations deployed since the sea-based deterrent program began more than 65 years ago.? Lockheed Martin developed and produced the missile and support equipment, and we continue our support of the Navy on the D5 today. First deployed in 1990, the Trident II D5 missile is currently aboard OHIO-class and British VANGUARD-class submarines and will remain in use until 2042.
